At Community Christian School, we are committed to cultivating the artistic gifts of our students through a comprehensive Fine Arts program that integrates both performing and visual arts. We believe that creative expression is a powerful way to glorify God and serve others, and we strive to provide students with meaningful opportunities to develop their talents in a Christ-centered environment.
Beginning in K4, students are introduced to Art, Music, and Drama, encouraging them to explore their creativity and express their faith through the arts. As they progress through the grade levels, students continue to grow artistically, spiritually, and personally under the guidance of skilled and passionate instructors.
Students in grades 4 through 12 have the opportunity to participate in our annual Fine Arts competition, where they showcase their abilities in categories such as dance, cheer, visual art, photography, music, and theater. This competition promotes excellence, discipline, and confidence while fostering a spirit of community and encouragement.
Additionally, Community Christian School is proud to participate in the TCAF/CSAF One Act Play competitions. Our junior high students (grades 4–8) and high school students (grades 9–12) engage in dramatic productions that allow them to develop skills in performance, teamwork, and stagecraft, while competing in a supportive and uplifting environment.
For students in secondary grades, we offer specialized art courses that enhance their understanding of visual arts and creative technique. Our yearbook program provides practical experience in graphic design, business, and communication—equipping students with valuable skills that extend beyond the classroom and into future academic and career pursuits.
Through every aspect of our Fine Arts program, our goal remains the same: to help students discover, refine, and use their God-given talents to honor Him and make a positive impact in the world.
